How to set volume for a particular staff in piano?
The piano have 2 staff, most commonly, one with treble clef, and one with bass clef.
So, I want to increase the volume of the staff 1 (treble clef), by example I want it at forte, and the other one (bass clef), I want it at mezzo-piano. But if I set F in the staff 1 and MP in the staff 2, the playback will just opt for forte. Which mean, MP at staff 2 has no effect on volume.
I hope you understand what I mean (look at the image). So any way to set volume for staff 1 or 2 only?

In Inspector you can set whether a dynamic is for the part/instrument (default) ot the staff (you want this) ot the entire system

Hello: I have this same issue, but I cannot see where I can set the scope of the dynamic. See attached. I have a mf in the right hand, and it is selected. I can't see anything in the properties of the dynamic that gives me this option.

You can do this in MS3.
But in MS4 you cannot set separate dynamics for the two staves of a piano part. It's a very unfortunate regression, which I hope will be fixed in due course.

However, you can use two pianos, one for treble clef only and the second for bass clef only. This will look the same, but you can then use different dynamics.
However: the cross staff notation will probably not be possible then.

The feature is at least under discussion on Gitub, where possible bux fixes and new features are assigned a priority.
