Quarter Notes for Triplets?
I'm working on an arrangement, it's a pop song, and the time signature is 4/4. In one section it goes to quarter note triplet runs for a few measures. I looked up how to make triplets, (select the note...click Control 3) but when I tried it the notes came out as eighth notes instead of quarters. Any time I've seen triplets they have been eighth notes...so is it possible to make triplets with quarter notes or no?
Thanks!

If you read the Handbook carefully, you'll see it says "first select a note on the score that specifies the full duration of the triplet group", with the word "full" emphasized. For quarter note triplets, the full duration is two beats, so start by selecting the half note as the duration before pressing Ctrl+3.
