Doesn't print the dot in any dotted notes
When I go to print, the dot disappears when it prints. It is in the score and the parts. The older version was fine but not MuseScore 3. Any suggestions

Score needed. Unless you're on a Mac (that PDF at least got created on a Mac) and use an HP LaserJet printer via AirPrint and use the Leland font (the new 3.6 default font), as in that case it is a known issue (and hides the treble clef too), workaround being to change one of these 4 conditions. See #316152: Some characters do not print from Leland on certain printer drivers on Mac

HMMM, It is a Mac and an HP printer... I'll try changing the font. What font works the best?

Other claimed that the HP printer driver doesn't have that issue, only Apple's AirPrint.
The most complete font is Bravura, the pre-3.6 default was Emmentaler, pick one of these.
Please give https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/suites/3188235696/artifacts/7357… a try (needs a GitHub acount, IIRC)
Using a Mac 2 years following the OP, and there remain printing issues. (using an Epson and not airdrop). Probably a font issue, from what I can gather - but this looks to be a persisting problem, that's really not ok. Showing up to a rehearsal, unaware that random chord qualities are missing, dots from dotted notes missing and even flags from 1/8th notes (turning them into quarters.). This does not bolster confidence.
I had a version on the IPAD that showed me the PDF is correct, while the paper on stands was not. Are we supposed to proof read every chart after printing, looking for dots and flags?
I'm going to look into changing the font, but I don't think this is a reasonable flaw. If a font isn't going to deliever reliable printing, then don't offer it.

In reviewing a collection of other posts, the gist is that it's on macs and it's Leland or Emmentaler, however I'm using MuseJazz. While I may vent for a bit, I'm also looking for a short term work around, since I'm in the middle of rehearsing nine songs with 4 to 5 parts per, so a path to reliably printing 45 parts would be quite helpful.

If you're using MuseJazz on an Epson though, this most probably is an entirely different issue

You can try my 3.7 version, the lates 3.x for your platform from https://github.com/Jojo-Schmitz/MuseScore/actions (needs a GitHub account
The workarounds are still available though: don't use AirPrint, don't use Leland
