Trombone
I am creating a score for trumpet, tenor saxophone, and trombone. When I play a C on my midi keyboard for the trombone, MuseScore writes a D in the bass clef trombone part. This seems wrong to me. What to do?

What happens when you type a C with the computer keyboard, or press P and use the virtual piano keyboard to enter a C, do you get a D?
Check that you are entering on the correct staff.

It appears that my confusion had to do with the "concert pitch" button. I am new to score-and-parts, having only done jazz lead sheets until now.

for the trombone in C there is no difference with the concert pitch buton, cause the button put all instruments in C, but trombone is already in C, like piano, guitare, flute etc...

But sometimes Trombone is in Bb like in the UK brass band tradition.
