Removing the time sig and clef from continuous view
Hey! I'd be so grateful if someone could help me remove or stop the time sig/key sig/clef on the left from following the instrument whilst in continuous play?
Thank you in advance! 😊

You don't.
Well, you can by going into staff/part properties and disabling display of clefs and time signatures (the latter is already disabled by default in some tab styles). You'd just perhaps want to turn them back on when you return to page view or print or export.

Thank you for the response! This works for me, there still seems to be a placeholder of sorts that takes up a portion left of screen, but i can work around that in my editting software with a crop and zoom.
Thanks for your time

Oops, i just wasn't looking hard enough, all the settings are to be found in the (style, bar) section. They can be altered through clef, key, time signatures margins and distances relative to eachother.

Hi! I would really appreciate if you could please explain me now?
Somehow I managed to remove the clefs and now I would really like them back.
Where should I find the setting?

Will MuseScore release a version where the notes won't be hidden by the ghost clef, time and key signatures? I was able to remove the clef and time signature marks, but the key signature marks are still there and they still hide parts of the piece. I read somewhere in the forum (can't find it now) that this would be resolved by the new version of Musescore, is this true? If so, when will it be released? I have MuseScore 4.1.1.232071203.

4.2 is expected end of December
I doubt though that it'd fix this

In continuous view, during screen transitions, there are moments where beats are entirely obscured by the ghost clef and key signatures, especially noticeable with longer key signatures (e.g., 6 sharps). Interestingly, this issue did not occur in Musescore3. As a result, I continue to use Musescore3 for displaying scores in continuous view to my students. Could this issue be addressed? It appears to be a problem specific to Musescore4.
