Can I do this -- additive paste?

Tried searching forums and Google, but I can't find what I'm wanting to do. I always fear that it's because I not using the right keyword.

I'm mostly playing with the nightlies, so if I should put this in a different forum, let me know. Thanks.

What I want to do: I have a staff for tenor sax and a staff for baritone sax. I have notes in each staff - a harmonized quarter note run in this case - and I'd like to copy the notes in one bar of the tenor part and paste it ONTO the corresponding bar in the bari part, and have MuseScore

1. Transpose the notes
2. Put stems in automatically
3. NOT overwrite the notes that are already there

Why do this? Because sometimes the tenor player isn't there and it would be handy to have the melody/upper notes in the bari part, without having to create a separate piece for that situation (which I've done in the past).

In some ways, I'm thinking of a "Paste Special", like in Microsoft Office. Is this doable now in MuseScore? Thanks.
