Instrument names on first system only
Is it possible to show instrument names on only the first system? I have tried searching the handbook and the forums but can not find a way to do this. Thank you

Yes, on the 1st system of any score (or section, either with more than one instrument) MuseScore does show the long instrument name, on all others the short instrument name. Just delete/empty the latter
