Or maybe you dragged the Mixer window off the screen. There is a plugin "Reset Dialog Positions" which might help you:

Thanks. I switched to "Basic edited" and the Mixer appeared.

At top right: I switched from "Advanced edited" to "Basic edited" and the Mixer window appeared. I don't know why this solved my problem.

That "edited" makes me wonder, I guess you 'edited away' the mixer in the Advanced workspace
You can reset those workspaces to nthier defaults
