Lost my last saved session?

Was Writing and suddenly MuseScore crashed. I have autosave set to 3 minutes, and was doing considerable work. I went into the %appdata% tab, went to local -> MuseScore 4 -> Sessions -> the session that had just crashed. I attempted to open it and got a read error. Any ideas how to open my session?
