Open Musescore 3.6 score in 4.0. Look at the alignment for 1 and 2 voices. If notes have dots, the second voice will have the dot on the left of the notehead.
Can't provide a picture, as I've uninstalled 4.0 - very unstable. Crashed 4 times in 2 minutes.
