Difficult to create tuplets over 5, 11, 13 ... beats
If I want to create a tuplet over a number of beats without a dedicated musical symbol I have to jump through hoops.
For example: in the enclosed score there is a 4/4 measure with a dotted quarter note at the start of it. Now I want a quadruplet over the rest of the measure. If I select the rest of the measure and hit control-5. I get two sets of tuplets from the two rests, as in measure 2, which makes sense. If I enter a tied note with a total length of 5 eighth notes (measure 3), select it and hit control-5, I get two sets of tuplets as in measure 4, which makes less sense: I tied those notes to tell musescore I want that duration; why else would I have done it?
To get my tuplets I have to remove some beats from a measure (measure 5), delete the contents of the measure to get a whole measure rest (measure 6), work my way around the bug (#340854) that then becomes apparent if I hit control-4, (measure 7), then copy and paste the tuplet into the place I want it (measure 8).
EIther the tuplet creation should respect tied notes, or there should be an option in the tuplet menu in the toolbar to create a single tuplet over several notes. alt-ctrl-number might be sensible shortcut for it.
