I downloaded the MuseScore AppImage and followed the instructions I found for getting it to run from the command line and then this happened:
/home/xxxxxx/.local/bin/MuseScore-4.0.1.230121751-x86_64.AppImage
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libjack.so.0
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnss3.so
/tmp/.mount_MuseScQtMiOQ/bin/mscore4portable: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by /tmp/.mount_MuseScQtMiOQ/bin/mscore4portable)
GLIBCXX_3.4.26' not found (required by /tmp/.mount_MuseScQtMiOQ/bin/mscore4portable)
/tmp/.mount_MuseScQtMiOQ/bin/mscore4portable: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version
/tmp/.mount_MuseScQtMiOQ/bin/mscore4portable: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by /tmp/.mount_MuseScQtMiOQ/bin/../lib/libsndfile.so.1)
GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by /tmp/.mount_MuseScQtMiOQ/bin/../lib/libFLAC.so.8)
/tmp/.mount_MuseScQtMiOQ/bin/mscore4portable: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version
and it stopped.
I'm running the PureOS amber Debian variant.
What do you suggest I do?

Hello cdcc, it's strange, if I'm not mistaken, an Appimage can run on any system and does not require additional installation to be launched, much like Windows apps. In addition, I see that a library is expected for Jack while Jack is not used in this version (alas!) and problems with mount!!! I suggest downloading the archive again and try again.
I see that you are using the amber version of the system, switch to bysantium maybe, I don't know this distro at all!
