File originally created in 3.0, horizontal frames used to create indentations at the beginning of systems. In 4.0, Instrument (short) names now appear in horizontal frames, not afterwards

Your's is the only report of this so far.
I have the same problem. File created in MS 4. It would be nice if there was a possibility for the instrument names to automatically move.
It took me a year, but I just found a workaround for that; see: https://musescore.org/en/node/359054
But, yes, it does seem to be a problem.
