I'm wondering if there's any way of moving the augmentation dots on a dotted eighth note behind the flag instead of in front. I know this is their right position but I can't find any way to do it. Perhaps you can help?
With MuseScore 3: Select dot. (you might want to zoom in). Open inspector (F8) and play with Offset X value.
With MuseScore 4, the dot is already behind the flag.
AFAIK in MS 4 the arrow keys don't work for positioning the dot, and the Properties panel has no offset adjustment fields for the augmentation dot.
[EDIT] I was wrong. But it's not obvious how to do it in MS4.
1. Right-click the augmentation dot, select "Edit element"
2. Use the left/right arrow keys to adjust the dot position
Per the original advice from Jojo-Schmitz. Sorry Jojo, I must read more carefully!
I simply can't activate right-click-edit-element. It must be a defect in my personal MuseScore. Do you think it would help if I uninstalled it then reinstalled it?

When I click "edit element" nothing happens. It never has.
