Sustain pedal not working after ritardando
This is a weird one. When using the sustain pedal marking after a ritardando, the first measure after doesn't have the pedal. Subsequent measures will have the pedal like normal. However, this bug is fixed if I increase the tempo of the last part of the ritardando to above the previous tempo marking. The problem is, either I have a ritardando that doesn't sound right, or I have a measure without pedal when I want it to be there.
Here's an example. When I set the second-to-last tempo marking to 90, the pedal isn't played, but when I set it to 120, then it suddenly works again. I've tried using other pedal markings, and all of them have the same issue.
I'm using version 4.0.1.230121751 with revision 9b70a8c on Windows 10.

I am having this exact same issue. Did you ever find a fix?
Known issue, already reported on Github as "Tempo changes cause pedal markings to have no effect with MuseSounds pianos" :
https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/18156
I have this issue too: https://musescore.com/user/13897016/scores/11773816/s/9wwPg2
The score has invisible pedal and tempo markings you can only view in the editor.

Had the same issue, I fixed it by dragging the pedal marking to the second note after the tempo change. It ain't pretty, but it's better than nothing. This would work in @Jibster's composition aswell.
