Lost playback function
I no longer have the playback function for MuseScore - cannot play back the parts I have created. Don’t know how it was lost. How do I reinstall?

Reinstall would rarely have any effect, although you are certainly welcome to use the usual facility provided by your OS to attempt it. More likely, though, it's something else. See https://musescore.org/en/node/96811 for some things to try. Not all suggestions apply to all versions of MuseScore, but it's important to check each of them out.
My playback mixer works but I have no sound. Once after a restart it worked very badly and at a very low volume for a minute or so. Then Musescore completely crashed. I have no sound during playback at all now... even after another restart.
