doesn't react to paper3 change, can't save canvas and paper settings

if I want to change background to paper3 it doesn't react. I need to choose paper1 first, then change it to paper3. if I set my picture for canvas background it isn't saved next time I open my score, together with paper3. it resets to default every time I close the project.
