No playback controls

I just uninstalled MS4 and reinstalled, hoping issues would go away, but if anything it's worse. No playback controls. Doesn't respond to the Esc key, so no way to deselect a note, scroll, playback, or anything. I can work around by closing and reopening the score, but still no playback controls appear. And it still keeps prompting me to install the 4.0.2 update.

  1. Try: Help > Revert to factory settings.
  2. About the prompt to update to MS 4.0.2: go to Help > About MusScore and click the page icon to copy the exact version you are using. Tell us what it reports.
