Items being removed from palette
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.1-230121751, revision: 9b70a8c
I dragged the "repeat bar before" bar sign into my score but then it disappeared from the palette. Undoing the action did not result in it reappearing and it is not present in the 'more' drop down box.

This is a known long-standing bug (dating back to the MuseScore 3 days) where every once in a while, if you drag from the palette instead of clicking (the usual way of applying palette items), it gets confused and temporarily appears blank. It fixes itself when you quite & restart, or just open another window. FYI, dragging fin the palette is normally meant for customizing the palette - dragging palette items from one location within the palette to another. That's how the confusion happens - if you drag outside the paletre, MuseScore is supposed to realize you are not trying to rearrange the palette after all, but every once in a while something goes wrong. So far no one has managed to figure out what makes this happens occasionally or how to reproduce it, or it would have been fixed by now.
BTW, 4.0.2 was released several weeks ago, definitely update as it fixes some pretty critical bugs in 4.0.1
