messy rhythm
Hi, Is there a way to clean up the score that was converted from PDF? There are many unnecessary rests and dotted semiquavers whereas there should be ordinary semiquavers. Can it be done in one go?
Regards

No - it’s nearly always quicker to input music from scratch, as pdf import makes too many mistakes.

That's not entirely true. Some commercial and expensive optical music recognition (OMR) systems are very accurate - and they have saved me a lot of time over the years.
MuseScore's File > Import PDF is driven by an online version of the Audiveris OMR software. And some users on these forums have reported getting much better results by downloading and installing the free Audiveris OMR software, and then fine-tuning its configuration settings by trial and error.
