Audio not working - seemingly since 4.2 update

Hi,

I've been trying to listen to the playback of my scores since yesterday, but no audio is coming through, regardless of whether I have any external devices such as headphones connected.

I am using Windows 11, which in the past has caused some problems for me. However, it has worked perfectly for several months now and this time, my other apps' sound is working perfectly, which eliminates Windows being the issue.

Nothing is muted in the MuseScore mixer, and everything is fine on my computer's mixer, so I highly doubt the problem pertains to a mixer of any kind.

Although changing these made no difference, my I/O tab preferences are currently as follows:
Audio device - Speaker/Headphone (Realtek(R) Audio)
Buffer size - 4096
No MIDI device is connected.

Lastly, I shut down and restarted my computer several times in the past couple of days, which also made no difference.

To the extent of my knowledge, these are some of the more common audio fixes. The last time I opened MuseScore before any problems was about a week ago, and it worked flawlessly then. My most logical guess is that it's a bug in MuseScore 4.2, which I did not have until yesterday, when the issue first arose.
