How can I notate this snare rhythm?

I'm writing down a snare part so I can hear what it sounds like, but I came across this and I don't know how to notate this, it's the 2 bars circled. IMG_0647.jpeg

Ignoring the nonsense notation that is bar 228 I assume the intention was a tuplet of 9 semiquavers in the time of 2 crotchets tied across the bar, i.e 4.5 at the end of bar 227 and 4.5 at the start of bar 228, mmm......

to notate the over-the-barline 9-let, you have to join the two measures by:
1. selecting both measures
2. selecting Tools > Measures > Join Selected Measures
3. enter the tuplets as you usually would
4. add a barline in between the notes where the measure break would fall
*as a bonus, you can correct the measure numbers by selecting the joined measure, right-clicking, click "Measure Properties," and change the "add to measure" from "0" to "1"

How do you add a barline half way through a note as required in this case? I.e. through the 5th note of the nontuplet. I did wonder about replacing the 5th note of the nontuplet with 2 notes of half duration and tie them across the bar. But how to do this in Musescore?2

Or you could just replace the two 3/4 bars with a single 6/4 bar then it becomes easy.
