Inserting Special Characters

I do not mind adding special characters via the Special Character Windows, however, when adding special characters frequently I would like to have focus set to MuseScore after each character added. At the moment I need to add a character, click MuseScore windows, continue typing, add special character, click MuseScore windows and so forth. This becomes frustrating, so would appreciate it if focus is placed back to MuseScore after each click automatically so I can just keep typing, clicking character, typing etc.
