Various Instruments Silent in Playback

So ever since I updated MuseScore to version 4.2, I've been having issues with instrument playback. The first issue occurred right after I downloaded the new guitar sound pack from MuseHub. I wanted to try out these new guitars so I selected the Electric LP - Heavy guitar sound for my electric guitar. At first it was very buggy as it would occasionally not produce tones on seemingly random notes. A few days later it just stopped working entirely. I gave up and returned to using the older guitar sounds for that part (the other sounds were working for other parts but not this one). Eventually, after trying it again, it worked perfectly fine and I thought the bug fixed itself. Here I am now trying to add a drumset to that same score. This drumset is just the MS Basic drumset but I've run into the same issue. I can turn the drumset part into any other instrument and it works fine, but when selecting "drumset" it no longer produces any noise in playback. I have already checked the mixer, properties, and instrument tabs for any settings that would cause this issue to arise. I've also reinstalled MuseScore and that did not solve my problem.
