Text box of verses after the music
I am working on an add on song and would like to add the verses in a box below the music. How do I do this?

Append a text frame, enter the lyrics there

You can add a Vertical frame. Then add one or more Text fields to the Vertical frame to house the block(s) of lyrics.

Because it's actually easier to use a vertical frame and then have two or even three text fields to format the verses nicely into columns across the page..

But only if a column layout is wanted. And I'm not sure whether this still works in Mu4

Luckily it does still work in MS4. The horizontal offset of each text field can be adjusted after clicking Appearance tab in the Properties panel:

I see just one frame, but no frames within?
Apperently you're not using those (and didn't claim to, on closer reading ;-)), but that's what I was referring too.

Add > Frames > Insert/Append Text frame

Be aware one thing: be sure there are no parts in your score, otherwise the program will crash irretrievably!

Create a part to your score (which is not uncommon!) and see what happens by appending a text frame...! :)
