Difficult to select invisible elements
Clicking in invisible elements do not select them most of the times. I attach one score but happens to every score and to any hidden element (notes, text, continuo figures...)

Try to right click them; if it's the same issue I'm having then you'll struggle even more with right click. In fact, those specific elements that you struggle to left click, if you right click them, they'll (if it's the same issue) immediately deselect themselves and trigger a fairly long period of time where you cannot left click them AT ALL.

I see. Strange. I'm also in Win 10, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.2.0-233521124, revision: eb8d33c

In MuS 3 there you can find in Preferences -> Canvas a Proximity for selecting elements. Default 4px.
Should be checked.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried (It was in 6, I changed to 4) but it has no effect.
I guess it was unlikely to be that the issue because there is no problem selecting visible elements.

This is something I have also observed with MS4 (never in the times before 4). A few more details:
1. It helps to make the picture larger (Command + on Mac).
2. The first click usually works. If trying to select a second element the software usually selects the entire bar rather than the single thing I wanted. I have to do something to the screen, like Command +, command 0 or just shift it around with click-hold-drag. Then it will pick up one more invisible element.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of your comment and found the same solution here https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/14970
Yep, I've had the same issue.
And you kind of need the invisible elements sometimes, like when managing the sound of a ritardando or accelerando section.
There was an issue open sometime ago. https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/14970
To my susrprise the workaround that is mentioned there works: if you change zoom you'll be able to select ONE hidden element. If you want to select one more you have to change zoom again. 😳

Also the problem only shows up when navigator is open.

that would explain why I haven't had it in a few days.

You can also just shift the picture a little. You click into an empty place, hold and drag and you can select ONE more invisible element.
