I added slashes to a measure, but the whole rest still shows in that measure. I tried to delete it but it did not work. What can I do?
I'll attach the file.
The problem occurs in measure 36 of the bass clef staff.
Thanks in advance for any help!

In that bar you have a real whole rest. Select the bar (not the rest) and press Del. Then ad slashes again.

Great. Thanks. I actually stumbled across a solution for that issue. But thank you anyway!
Your mistake was: you wrote the slashes in voice 2 instead of voice 1.
You can also exchange the two voices, then the rest is in voice 2 and can be deleted.

Thank you. That makes sense.
Appreciate your help!
I actually have another question regarding this same score.
In measures 9-12 I initially entered these chords in the bass clef, but later decided it would make more sense in treble clef. Since I had already hid the treble clef and was having trouble unhiding it (in order to re-enter those chords) I simply changed the clef in that staff.
But as a result I got the clefs at the end of the line, which I don't want there, since they don't really make any sense in this case.
So how do I unhide the other staff in measures 9-12 (what was originally the treble clef staff) so I can do this properly? For some reason I was able to unhide other staves in other measures of the score, but in measures 9-12 they were staying hidden no matter what I tried.
Thanks in advance for any help.
I'll re-attach the updated score in case it helps.

I didn't manage to visualize the second staff from m. 9-12 either. A somewhat strange behavior.
But: if you switch to the horizontal continuous view, both staves are visible.
If you then write at least a dummy note in the stave that is now visible again. However, it only remains if the note is not deleted again. Strange.
At least that's how it is in MuS 3.7.

I think I will repost this in a separate post to get more responses. Thanks for taking a look at it for me!
