Clefs change in my template
I set up a new barbershop template. As shown in the first screenshot, I have the treble octave, and bass clefs. But when I open that template, the clefs on the first staff have both changed to treble. To further confuse the issue, on the second staff, they are correct! (Second screenshot) Can anyone explain?

Score/template needed, but I guess Tenor/Lead is not the 'instrument' Tenor and Bari/Bass is not the instrument Bariton or Bass, but both are just 'Voice'?
Also why don't you just take the existing barpershop template? Or at least start from that?

Because I want to use different music and text fonts, and I hate the ooh and aah vocal playback sounds. Maybe because I picked piano as the playback sound, it forces those clefs.

Yep, that got to be it. As said: start with the existing template, there change the music- and text fonts and sound

When I change the playback sound in that template to piano, it changes the clef, just as before. Is there no way to separate the piano sound from all of its other "presets"?
I just want to do that, once. That's why I made my own template.

No, it does not, if you change the sound in Mixer rather than changing the instrument in staff properties. The latter goes along with a default clef, and that is the G-clef for the upper piano staff. And has the wrong note range too.

Perfect. Thanks for teaching me, more!
