uneven volume in MS4 string lines
In the attached excerpt, which has only a single Violin 2 (Solo) line, certain notes seem louder than they should be and some seem quieter. I've marked the quieter and louder notes with Q and L. This line started off in a MuseScore 3 score, where the volume was even for the whole line.
The loud notes are at the beginning of slurred phrases, but I have found a similar problem with a cello part with no slurs. Like with the violin part, some notes are louder or quieter than they should be because there are no score notations to suggest any kind of dynamic change.
Thanks,
Bob

This seems to be one of the known problems with string sounds.

Thanks. I will keep checking with future releases.

Is there an issue number on https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues for this that I can track?
Thanks,
Bob

I see that this has not been addressed in MuseScore Studio version: 4.5.0-250721848, revision: 7c55023.
I will repeat my question from June: if this is a known problem, is there a github issue number I can use to watch for progress?
Thanks,
Bob

Why don't you check GitHub?

I searched github for "dynamics strings" and found several issues that look related, but they're about inaccurate playback of assigned dynamics, not unplanned arbitrary dynamics being assigned:
I really couldn't find anything that looked like this particular issue. Because bobjp wrote "This seems to be one of the known problems with string sounds" I was hoping that he might know an issue number.
