Tempo is half the speed it displays

• Jul 9, 2024 - 19:15

I'm new to this software, just opened it for the first time, and when I tried to experiment with it, I noticed the playback was a lot slower than the default 120BPM it showed. I changed the tempo around and timed every change, and no matter what I put the tempo at, it always playedback at half the speed it's supposed to.
120BPM should play 120 quarter notes in one minute, but it would instead play 120 over 2 minutes.
If I want a true 2 beats per second, I would have to set it to 240BPM.
It's manageable to work with, but very annoying and was hoping for a fix. Or perhaps it's a bug. But either way, it's unintuitive for the tempo not to match the desired play speed.

It isn't a problem with any particular score. And I discovered what the problem is. For some reason when I connect my bluetooth headphone to my laptop, it garbles the software and makes everything it plays sound off or slow.
I have the original AfterShokz OpenComms.
