Why does musescore show the pages on eachother
Everytime i try to open or make a project this happens. completely unusable. I have no clue how to fix this or why it happens. help would be appreciated.

Score needed, but I guess there's a screw-up in page format, esp. the page width
It's possible there is an error somewhere in the score file causing this, but it looks more like MuseScore is having trouble understandinf your screen resolution and displaying the page entirely too small. That was pretty common in older versions of MuseScore like the one you are using, but happens much more rarely in current versions. So, worth a shot (and you can keep the old version installed also).
