Lost work

My laptop either got hacked or broke, but all files in my D folder are dead and some apps, including Musescore don't open, with the system telling me that my device doesn't support the app. All my scores are unable to be emailed, because apparently they are all 0 bites.
I saved all my works on the device, and not on cloud. Is there any chance I can recover the files?
