Piano Pedal Lines offset/dysfunctional

My pre 4.4 scores that I'm working on saw all the piano pedal lines change after the 4.4 update. The pedal resets, once neatly tied together (starting from a note, ending at another, then initiating a new pedal line from that latter note, etc), were all split apart. New pedal lines are all offset, never linking up properly nor snapping together. This issue exists across all my scores now and in new ones. I can only get adequate results by manually stretching and moving the pedal lines myself now. Playback does not reflect these discrepancies and plays as if the pedaling were written correctly. I'm facing some steep deadlines and the timing of this could scarcely have been worse.
