Playback issue with MuseScore 4.4.2

Hello. I am, generally speaking, a very happy MuseScore user. I have downloaded and installed MuseScore 4.4.2 today, and when I play back some pieces there is a clicking sound that interrupts the sound – a bit like the old stylus on a record player clicking as it went over a scratch in the vinyl.

I've noticed this so far:

1/ In a piece for voices which I imported as an XML file exported from Sibelius.

2/ In a piece for choir and organ, composed in MuseScore 4

3/ In the opening phrase of a piece which I'm writing in MuseScore 4, for recorders.

Any advice, please?
