How to record a new instrument ?

My question is about lute tablature writing.

I often write tablatures pour the theorbo, the archlute or the baroque guitar. I know how to change the characteristics of the strings to make the tablature accurate for each of these instruments, but I find it too long to recreate those characteristics each time I write another tab.
Is there any way to record those as a new instrument (for instance "Theorbo (Tablature)") in my computer to be able to add it without spending much time setting it each time I want to write a new score ?
