how do I do this?

I want to create a page that contains rhythmic fragments of 1 to 2 bars in length

each measure should be centered on the page and only be ~3" in length

I looked at the Object Inspector but wasn't sure which parameters to tweak

can anyone guide me as to how to adjust make a page like this? or point me to the info on the site?

Object inspector is read only as far as I know.
Centering is not possible but you could tweak the left margin and right margin in Layout -> Page parameters
