Hiding soloist line for remainder of song

I am trying to arrange a choral piece that features a soloist in the beginning and the end. I would like to hide the line for the rest of the song. I tried the Edit General Style>Hide empty measures but it then hides all the measures for the other 3 parts (and the piano since it is a cappella) during the solo. I ONLY want to hide the soloist line, not the rest even though they are empty. Is there any way to do this?
