Editing each part seperately
I'd like to ask for a new notation feature for MuseScore 2.0. When composing an orchestral score, it would be good if I had the ability to edit each part seperately and then when exiting from editing mode, the changes would be applied in the score.

That is what 2.0 does already, actually that one of its most important improvements!

Most of the time, it is nice to be able to make a change in the part and have it copied to the score. But it would be nice to be able to choose when this happens.
When doing combo arrangements, the piano part often ends up being five or six pages long. The horn parts are different but the keyboard part is basically the same for each chorus.
I would like to be able to have repeats in the keyboard part, but the choruses written out for the horns. I can do this in 1.3 because changes to the parts are not transferred back to the score.
Is there any way in 2.0 to detach the part from the score so that changes made to the part are not made to the score?

You could make a separate copy of the score for the part via "save as"; that's probably the best way to go about this.
