Mac Musescore 2.0 time signature multiple voice issue
A score I'm working was fine before I closed it. It had two voices, and a time signature of 3/4. When I reopened it... the time signature had disappeared... Now, musescore thinks it's 4/4. And some strange shift occured with the voices. The blue voice is shifted to the right without leaving a rest in front of it.
So for the blue voice... In the second measure there's an artificial rest of 1 quarter note. In the third measure there's an artificial rest of 2 quarter notes... etc... the rests keep building up.
Is there any way I can repair this file... if I drag in a 3/4 time signature all the "artificial" rests turn into real ones.
I've attached the file here. It was initially a Musescore 1.3 file. I wonder if that might have caused the issue.
Appreciate any help.
EDIT: Additional details. There are 2 linked parts... a guitar part and the tab. If I drag in the 3/4 time signature, only one voice appears in the tab.

You may be able to find a usable backup file.

Thanks. Afraid I wasn't able to find a backup there.
Is there any way to delete a rest and have the rest of a voice shift to the left? It would be tedious, but at least it would be a way for me to fix this.

Use copy and paste

How do I select notes from just one voice?

Using the selection filter. Or right-click, select... select all similar from same voice
But the latter doesn't constitute a range selection but a list selection and I think you can't copy/paste that

Thanks. The selection filter worked. Another problem is there... if I do anything to the first part (with the two guitar voices), the linked part (tab) removes the second voice...
So the tab ends up only showing notes from one voice. Not sure why it's doing this.
The major issue is that there seemingly "invisible" rests in one of the voices. Even when I copy and paste the voice into a new score, the issue remains.
I've attached a screenshot. Notice that in the second measure, the first note is selected. Note that in the bottom of the window it says "measure 2, beat 2"
And when this is played, there is a rest played at the start of measure 2. This rest is not supposed to be there.

To fix a corrupted measure, the best procedure is to insert a new measure, manually enter the notes into that new measure, then delete the corrupted measure.
By the way, from the image you posted, it looks like you are trying to reconstruct your previously attached Fairy_Waltz2.0.mscz (which got awfully corrupted somehow).
