Scrubbing

I miss the ability to slowly play back a section of the score by sliding the mouse cursor over it.
This is often called "scrubbing". Both Sonar and Finale allow this, forward and backward.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to select which tracks will sound, but I'm already happy if all of them sound, as in the two aforementioned software packages.

I too would really REALLY like a scrubbing feature to playback a whole chord and listen to it, and go back and forth between two chords.
I write choral music, the sound of each chord and of each transition is vital. When composing, I go back and forwards altering the progression until I've recreated the span I had in my mind.
At the moment I have to compose with Sonar so as to be able to use the scrubbing feature, and transfer to MuseScore to produce the score.

Thanks for the tip, but it wouldn't quite do the trick as I go backwards and forwards and at different speeds. It maybe only something useful for composers of choral work perhaps. The scrubbing function of cakewalk Sonar is ideal, and that's what I would really like to see in Musescore. I think it would probably need to be separate from the usual transport controls as MIDI note-on events from scrubbing come on a mouse-down event and not necessarily be in the same order they are in the score. :)
