Automatically changing music based on range of instrument

When the user changes instruments, perhaps add in the option for them to have musescore automatically transpose the instrument for them? To achieve this, some sort of algorithm will have to be written that finds the lowest note in the section and chooses which octave to transpose too based on that (because most instruments are limited in bottom notes rather than top) based on the Amateur or Professional ranges of the instrument.

Note that this would really only transpose entire staves by octaves.
