General Text Font
Hi, gang!!!
Is there a way to preset a general text font to all the used text into the scores? ???
As I see, today, we have to go to the Style Menu, option Text, and there to change, one by one, the fonts to Title, Composer, Lyrics, etc. etc. etc. And we have to do this any time we write a new score!!!
So... Isn't there another way to do this? ???
Greetings!!!
Juan

Set it up once, then save as a template and use that, or save a style and apply that to other scores
Here's a really lovely thing I just learned from Mastering MuseScore. If you change the text styles as you describe in just one score, then save the style for future use (Style -> Save Style…), you can actually set that as the default style for all future scores created from scratch! Just add it as the default Style in the Score section of MuseScore's Preferences.

Thanks, Zack, that's really nice, and not something I'd realised is possible. For me, that means I don't usually need to use a custom template, so I don't need to scroll down to the bottom of all those pre-defined templates so often.

And FYI, the custom templates have been moved to the top of the list. I guess maybe that change was made after 2.0.1, but it will be in 2.0.2.
Two very nice solutions indeed!
Still, I've thought about the possibility of having a global control to set all text styles at once. Obviously, not the size and position or anything but the actual font face. And I've wondered if it could be made a plugin, but never investigated...
