Opening XML file
Have been using some xml files and was able to open them and work with them with V2.0.1. I think they were originally created in Sibelius. Have downloaded V2.0.2 revision f51cd11today and find that when I open the files some open perfectly but with some only the title appears. Any ideas how I can fix this please?
Best wishes

I can confirm they don't open correctly in 2.0.2, but do in the current development version (eg, a nightly build). I believe it is this: #70236: MuseScore won't import properly from music XML files with no staff names. I guess maybe you could use go back to 2.0.1 temporarily, import the files, save normally, then reinstall 2.0.2. Or edit the MusicXML files by hand to add the missing staff names.

Indeed, removing the #70236 fix from the trunk causes the problem to appear.
In order to fix the files by editing, the 'print-object="no"' must be removed from both the part-name and part-abbreviation elements.

Because I can only see the Title and nothing else and have no idea about editing 'print object = 0' I guess I will remove 2.02 and revert to 2.01.
Very grateful for your help. Lacking th technical ability to support the project (as you can see) I have made a donation and encourage other users to support this fantastic project.
To remove "print-object" etc, you need to edit the XML file directly using an XML (Bluefish etc.) or plain text editor. MuseScore is not an XML file editor although it can read and it can write XML files.
