SMPTE code
Hi, gang!!!
I wonder if MuseScore reads (recognize) and sends (through and from Jack)the SMPTE signal code. Also if MuseScore reads and saves SMPTE code into the MIDI files. ???
If it is "yes", How can we manipulate/control it? ???
It is intended to synchronization between the on-screen score playback and any other external multimedia file (audio and /or video).
Thanks a lot for your time!!!
Greetings & Blessings from Chile!!!!!!!

No it doesn't. If the other external software is Jack capable, SMPTE is not needed.
There is also a pending pull request for MMC support https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/2128
Did you try MuseScore + jack + Xjadeo ? Does that fit your purpose?
MuseScore currently has no internal clock, so cannot generate or respond to timecode other than through JACK.
Hopefully a programmer will join the development team who is capable of writing the code for this, but until that happens I'm afraid we're stuck with relying on JACK to synchronise timing.
