crashes
I just started with MS, when I go to file/open it crashes, there are no open documents, so there are no corrpted scores, there are no scores at all, I have remove the ms and reinstalled with the same results?
thanks

Try double-clicking a *.mscz file. If the program opens, from Preference disable Start Center.
Have you tried https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings ?
What OS? There is a known bug in Chrome OS 81 that would cause this, fixed if you update to 83 (or complete the "install" step for the AppImage.
Other than that, check the "Known Incompatibilities" section of the Handbook to see if maybe something on your system is triggering this.

Did you check the Known Incompatibilities as I suggested? I guess you could also try running from the command line using "-F" to revert to factory settings (see Handbook also for more info on running from the command like if you arne't familiar), also try deleting (or renaming) your MuseScore 3 folder (under Documents). But my guess is it will turn out to be some sort of device driver incompatibility, so do be sure to update any graphic and audio drivers you may have.
In the past we've also had some issues with some linux window managers. So you could try changing the nativeDialog setting in advanced properties to see if that helps you out.

Is there something unusual about how your home folder is set up?
By default MuseScore tries to load that dialog with the "
Documents\MuseScore3\Scores
" folder. Some network drive things going on perhaps? Can you open a score directly from explorer by double clicking it?
