measure/bar stretch
Hello
I'm not sure whether I am posting to the correct forum. I would like to seek help with stretching measures/bars. I have searched the forums extensively and looked at the solutions proposed, but none of these seem to be working for me. Either they don't apply to my problem, or I'm just not understanding the technology. I have extensive experience with Sibelius, but am new to Musescore.
I've outlined what I'm trying to achieve on the attached PDF. I have tried the { } keys which had no effect. I have tried inserting a frame and editing the final system stretch to no avail.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

Insert a horizontal frame between measure 1 and 2. apply a system break to it (and remove the one at measure 1)
Resize the frame to your needs

Many thanks, this worked! I had tried messing around with frames previously, but I think your explanation prompted me to do something in a slightly different way which had the desired effect.
