Adding a Group of Instruments
Hello,
I am trying to compose a concert band piece. So, when I am selecting the instruments, I just choose "Band" and it shows that all the concert band instruments are selected. Yet, when I open the score, nothing is there? The whole score is blank. I check to add instruments again, yet it shows that all the instruments are selected. What do I do?

Add them to the score?
Or disable Format > Style > Score > Hide empty staves

It is not clear how you are choosing instruments. From the new score wizard you can choose a concert band template with a standard set of instruments like this
If you use this method you will probably want to remove some of the instruments from the predefined set and add others.
Or you can start with an empty score and add individual instruments from a list of common concert band instruments like this
Using this method, as Jojo says, you have to select which instruments you want. You find those after clicking the [Next] button and then selecting the Concert Band set like this
Scroll to the second page. Many templates have too many instruments to be shown on the first page, but they are always shown on the second page. You may want to make some adjustments to the layout, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/layout-and-formatting
