Crashing Musescore version 3.6.0.487915773, revision 1977cb3 on windows 10
The latest update is not working well. Now I can't play my scores. It does not run.
Could someone hlep on this?

Not sure if the original poster can do that-- but I can't. The application crashes so soon after startup that there's not even time to find the place where I would update.

Thanks. I just did it. Have now 3.6.1. version, 64bits, but unfortunately did not solve!
I am also having the same issue; Version 3.6 crashes immediately on start-up. New scores are not the only ones affected. The crash does not even allow access to the Start Center or any previously-prepared scores. These issues began immediately after downloading this newest update. I have already submitted a bug in the error reporting system, but I don't see my error report in the system anymore. I submitted the error report a day ago, and the issue still exists.
Do not use the automatic updater, download the installer from https://musescore.org/en/download
It is of the utmost importance that you reboot your PC first (to ensure the files leading to this crash are not "locked").
Then run the installer; without launching MuseScore first. If you are offered the "repair" option, use it; if not, continue with normal installation.
