At the moment the user has to root around obscure and hidden folders to find the workspace and back it up – not necessarily an easy thing for the uninitiated
There needs to be a way for the user to easily back up his/her workspaces from MuseScore itself. This could be done, perhaps, with a menu command and/or a command from another appropriate location (the workspace or palette?).

Any plans to implement this (and to allow loading of a workspace)?
I expected that would be next to Templates or Style, but it is actually in a hidden folder "~/.local/share/MuseScore/MuseScore3/workspaces/..." really trying hard to escape the backup strategy.
My "~/.local/" folder is 26Go since it is where VirtualMachine are stored ... by default.
Still not a bug, but a feature request AKA Suggestion

I would say that backup / restore IS an expected feature. As such it should be in the Handbook and it should include the customs workspaces.
Putting the workspaces alongside Templates and Styles seems like a quick win. (Easier than explaining how to backup/restore all plugins, Soundfonts, .ini ...)
Expected or not, it is a not yet implemented feature

I do not discuss the right way to classify this. If it is a "suggestion" so be it.
I am looking at this issue Title and I understand why you said "It is not implemented".
But workspaces are rightfully stored in files, only not in the right place to be easily backuped. I modify the Title accordingly.
