Saving and re-opening moves roman numerals and figured bass symbols back that had been moved via arrow keys
I am doing a lot of music examples with harmonic analysis. I use mostly roman numeral analysis text but I have to add sometimes figures that are not available in this text by using figured bass as well (for example slashed 6, # etc). I move these figured bass symbols to come just after some of the roman numerals, but when I re-open the file after saving the position of the symbols has changed.
Unchecking the automatic placement of the figures does not solve the problem.
1) Add Roman Numeral Analysis to score
2) Add additional figured bass symbols (7 and # in this case)
3) move the figured bass symbols so they come after the roman numeral
4) Save the score, close and re-open the score
The placement of the figured bass symbols has changed to come above the roman numeral
I also have great problems when I move some of the roman numerals to lie ao different levels (to indicate modulation where one chord belongs to 2 different keys) The careful alignment of the roman numerals gets destroyed when the score is saved and re-opened.

I can't reproduce, moving the figured bass items to the right (by 2.0 sp, via Inspector) works and stays put after close and reopen:

You are correct. Using the inspector does move it permanently. I was using the arrow keys to move the figures as it was much faster (and easier) than moving them via the inspector. Obviously this works differently
Indeed there seems to be a difference! (and a workaround)
Came up again in: https://musescore.org/de/node/321104. I didn't check it, but the OP of this comment wrote, that it seems to be a regression.
